Hummingbirds are one of the most fascinating creatures in the animal kingdom. These tiny birds are known for their incredible speed and agility, as well as their beautiful colors and unique patterns. But have you ever wondered how hummingbirds are born? The process is truly remarkable. Hummingbirds lay their eggs in small, cup-shaped nests that they build themselves. The mother bird will then sit on the eggs to keep them warm and protect them from predators. After about two weeks, the eggs hatch and the baby hummingbirds emerge. Despite being so small, these newborn birds are already covered in feathers and a strong instinct to fly. It's amazing to think that such tiny creatures can be so resilient and independent from the moment they are born.

We'll show you how in our backyard, under a gazebo, up in a bulb light plastic socket, a lovely hummingbird mother made the nest, laid a couple of eggs, the tiny hummingbirds emerged, mother fed them and finally they flew away.
